Manchester based artist doing life casting and custom pieces. Life casting as a process dates back to Egyptian times, being used as part of the decoration for the burial goods. Death masks were also taken of prominent figures, including Nelson.

The process has changed a lot in the last 40 years with the use of new materials such as plaster bandage and alginate. These have made the process faster, simpler, and pain free. Casts can be done of any part of the body, faces and hands are always popular. As well as torso's, bottoms, pregnancy bumps. Babies hands and feet are a good lasting record of a new arrival to be treasured.
